Beyond the Map’s Edge Treasure Hunt
Another big hunt is coming your way!
Beyond the Map’s Edge is a treasure hunt releasing on March 27, 2025, by Justin Posey. (Book available on Amazon)
Justin was one of the most active searchers in the Forrest Fenn treasure hunt, The Thrill of the Chase, and will be featured in the upcoming Netflix Documentary: Gold & Greed – which showcases the Fenn treasure hunt. The documentary releases March 27th as well.
Justin was the buyer of the Fenn chest after it was found by Jack Stuef. He later sold many of the items in the chest at auction in December 2022. In the MW’s Six Questions with Justin, he said he kept, “… the treasure chest, the dragon bracelet, a few coins, dust, and flakes.”
It is not known as of now if any of those items will be in this new treasure hunt. In the book’s description the following is said about the treasures included:
“…Posey has hidden his own sixty-pound collection of historical artifacts, spanning from gold bars and precious gems to cryptocurrency and a rock from outer space, with hints scattered throughout these pages.”

TREASUREFIX: Six Questions with Nails
In the previous Quest newsletter, I shared that TREASUREFIX treasure hunts have been released!
Americana ($100,000 cash treasure), Nails in the Kitchen #1 ($2,500 cash treasure), and We Didn’t Start the Word Search ($5,000 cash treasure) are only the first hunts of a planned many. Searchers are enjoying working on these well-crafted, unique, and clever puzzles.
Some of the comments to date, “Whoever wrote this crossword… amazing job, this thing is insane.” and “Love the cookbook idea. Very nice and interesting.”

Six Questions with David Jacobsen
I had the opportunity to ask David Jacobsen, creator of the Wonderland Treasure Hunts, another Six Questions. It’s always great to hear from creators.
The Hatter’s Hat ($10,000+ treasure), one of The Mad Tea Party riddles, Best Riddles riddle, and a NEW hunt in a children’s book: The Case of the Barking Dog, all have treasures yet to claim.
David’s most recent release, The Case of the Barking Dog (available on Amazon) contains clues to a hidden message. The story is for children so families can work on exploring and finding treasures together!
