Beyond the Map’s Edge Treasure Poem
In the treasure poem of the Beyond the Map’s Edge treasure hunt is the phrase ‘His bride'. Many searchers are trying to connect this to a location on a map that relates to ‘bride’ in its location name - like a Sacagawea statue or something similar.
And while that is an option, what if it’s not that at all?!
Justin was inspired by the Forrest Fenn treasure hunt, and in that hunt searchers often used the phrase ‘marry to a map.’ What they meant was the words in Forrest’s poem needed linked or ‘MARRIED’ to a location on a map.
The 3rd stanza of the poem begins with:
In ursa east his realm awaits;
His bride stands guard at ancient gates.
If ‘In ursa east his realm awaits’ equates to Polaris (the North Star in the constellation Ursa Minor), and if we ‘marry’ the celestial to the earthly realm – his bride could be Polaris, MT or a North Star location on a map.
A celestial realm married to an earthly realm. His realm married to the location on a map therefore being ‘his bride’.
I explain this a bit more in my video - His Bride in Justin Posey’s Treasure Poem
