Justin Posey Treasure Poem Clues
The first actionable clue in poem is ‘As hope surges clear and bright’
No one to his knowledge has reached the checkpoint as of the date 6/21/25
You are at least half through the poem clues when you reach the checkpoint
All clues are expected to stand the test of time (however, if something drastic happens and changes this – Justin said he will announce the change)
It is - walking distance from ‘Waters’ silent flight to round the bend, past the hole.’
Clues are in consecutive order from top to bottom of poem
Justin said the question: ‘How far is it from the first clue to the last clue in miles?’ - was impossible to answer based on how the clues are structured
Justin did not answer the question: ‘Are the double arcs something that exist or were created?’ (Justin said it was a strange question to answer since he knows what he knows)
Is the bride alive? Justin said, “The bride is not a person that is alive right now”. When asked if the bride is referring to someone alive? He didn’t want to answer.
Other Treasure Clues:
There are clues in the songs (of the treasure hunt)
There are 2 hints Justin feels are ‘obvious’ in the Netflix that no one has mentioned being found. He went on to say they are in a scene that doesn’t have him in it – but yet did have some control of the scene.
Some clues in the Netflix are compound – they require a number of scenes to consider. However, there are at least 5 singular clues (probably more) in the documentary
Advice on best process to solve the hunt? Justin said watch the Netflix series for the back story, read the book and poem (more than once) – then go watch the show again looking carefully at the scenes.
Justin Posey Treasure Quotes:
There are some questions that are best to quote:
There was a question on what advice Justin could give on how to get the 60lb treasure out – Justin answered that “once you figure out exactly where the treasure is at you will have sufficient time to plan how you wish to retrieve it.”
Quote: “By the time you’re going to get the treasure you’re not searching, you’re retrieving.” (this mentioned when asked how far from car to search -is it a mile or less?)
Quote: “There are multiple ways to solve this treasure hunt.” It can be solved in different ways – some more difficult than others
Quote: Depending on how it is solved (there are different ways to solve it) – “Entire hunt is based on naturally occurring structures and landscapes” – however in one way solved - “One clue has a man-made implication to it.”
Quote: “Checkpoint is part of the poem.” (the poem does in effect mention the checkpoint because that is a stage of your journey)
Quote: “There have been people that have been less than 2 miles – and certainly even less than that” (before answering if there was a 200/500ft searcher, Justin mentioned he was trying to remember emails sent to him)
Miscellaneous Treasure Insights
There is an ‘excellent chance’ you will find the treasure if you are first to find the checkpoint’. Justin added that the checkpoint is a way for you to know that you are on the right track. There is something you will find along the way that lets you know that.
No proxy – Treasure is out to there to find (claim Bitcoin Wallet within 30 days of finding it - see more on this on Justin’s website)
Justin first designed the cover art of the book (cover designer then made tweaks)
Cipher not in the poem –it is elsewhere. It is a nod or hint to the container – don’t need to solve it.
Treasure is below 11,000 feet
Although no intentional red herrings – Justin said he can’t control how people interpret things.
If he is aware – Justin will announce when checkpoint is reached
Any clue in cover art at all? Justin answered he hasn’t specified
The hiding spot is meaningful for its beauty, symbolism, and sentimental reasons
Not in very close proximity to man-made trail – little ways off trail
