There’s Treasure Inside Release Date: Clues?
There’s been plenty of discussion about the release dates of There’s Treasure Inside and connections to the film: Back to the Future (The Trilogy).
Are they clues?
The original release date for There’s Treasure Inside was October 21 (2024). It was said because of publishing issues for the book, the release date needed changed to November 12, (2024).
November 12, 2024 - is the official launch date for the hunt.
October 21 was not forgotten though. And Jon resurfaced this date when he sent out a newsletter in 2025 on that date to speak about interviews happening for the book’s one year anniversary (which would be November 12).
These two dates are connected to the Back to the Future movie trilogy.
November 12, (1955) was the date Marty used to return to the future (1985) in the first movie. It was the date of the dance, and it was known lightning would be hitting the clock tower on that night. (Marty had arrived in the past on November 5th (1955)).
October 21, (2015) was the date Marty went to the future. It was in Back to the Future Part Two.
PART TWO for this date is interesting to me. Since there is a PART TWO in the There’s Treasure Inside book - of which one smaller box - The Past & Future Box - features the 80’s (Most notable on topic here is Ready Player One had a hunt with a DeLorean as the treasure).
(Back to the Future’s first movie released in 1985, followed by part two in 1989, and part three in 1990.)
The original release date of 10/21 and it connecting to Part TWO of Back to the Future, with then the following release date of 11/12 also connecting to the film is suspicious.
With further links to the Past & Future Box - by the fact the year in the future that particular movie went to was 2015 - and the Word Search is 20x15 (2015) - adds to this.
It makes me consider the date 10/21 more. 10 is X in roman numerals.
So what is 21? If ‘back’ is a clue then it could be 12 (21 BACKwards)
So is it a hint that the Past & Future Box is in North Carolina? (North Carolina being the 12th state admitted into the Union)
It also connects to Jon’s Past (he lived there) - and the Movie’s Future (2015/20x15 word search - (again with BACK 10/21 - being 12 X)
X marks the spot. North Carolina? Something to consider.

Media Spotlight - X Marks the Pod
In their Tuesday show with Matthew Hobbies one of the many things they discussed was what if the Past & Future Box was called that because it was in a state of different time zones - past & future.
It was mentioned there are 14 states with different time zones -Florida, Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan, Tennessee, Kansas, Nebraska, North Dakota, South Dakota, Texas, Idaho, Oregon, Alaska, and Nevada.
Nevada stands out - since the Lake Tahoe area is a popular theory for the box.

I did. And I like that idea.
But until a box is found I’m not absolutely convinced of any one location. This is a treasure hunt - or a puzzle hunt.
Many connections, ideas, theories, or thoughts will surface when trying to solve clues to find a box.
As I recently mentioned in a video I made about The Pokemon Box being in Arkansas - all evidence/ ideas need weighed and eventually one theory should rise above the rest.
