Book Signing and Hidden Mark in Book
The Bookstore in Dillon, Montana is hosting a book signing on Saturday 6/21 with Justin. Signed books can be ordered at The Bookstore - and they will be shipped to you - if unable to attend.
On Thursday, Justin announced he hid a mark in one of the books at The Bookstore. Although it won’t be a clue to his treasure, it will offer a prize for whoever buys the book with the mark.
He will share where the mark is during the Q/A being held after the book signing.
More Audiobook Differences
I’ve mentioned the additional chapter, the 3 added musical pieces, the search list, and yet, there are still more differences noticed in the Audiobook to that of the original hardcover book. Following are others:
Acknowledgements: Within this section is an added sentence. It comes after the sentence ending with ‘curfew negotiations’ - of page XIII. The additional sentence is:
“You taught me the difference between reality and fantasy isn’t a wall - it’s a map waiting to be drawn.”
The Concrete Kiss: Within this chapter is “We called it “The Big Hill” - though it might barely register as a speed bump in Utah.” in the Audiobook it changes Idaho to Utah. On page 43 of the hard copy it is Idaho.
Trailside Troubles: THE is added to the chapter title. Interesting as this is on page 113 in the Hard copy - and there had been a possible clue for 113 in the digital version with the differences in illustrations.
On the MW Website is List of Audiobook Differences - it will be updated as I continue to listen/read - with thoughts and possible theories on those differences.
There’s Treasure Inside Symbol Clues!
In case you missed it: Back in February on the MW Discord the subject of hidden symbols on the magnifying glass in Chapter 3 of TTI was discussed.
Chapter 3’s subtitle is ‘Joy is in the details’ and offers advice that noticing details will help find the treasures. One of these treasures being the Faberge magnifying glass valued at over $23,000.
On previous photographs of the magnifying glass, these symbols, possibly runes, are not present. And in a recent interview JCB commented that he used his own programs to create and edit the images in the book.
These mysterious symbols are looking more and more like intentional clues! What do they mean!?
Masquerade Tribute 2025 Clues Released Sunday
3 of the 6 hunts remain unsolved in the Masquerade Tribute 2025! Over $1000 in treasures yet to be claimed. There is still time to join the adventures!
All 3 unsolved hunts will be releasing another clue. These will be posted on the MW Forum on 6/22 - Sunday morning - around 10AM EST.
The hunts are Este’s Mini Quest, CASTAWAYS, and Old Jack Hare & Frog! Best of luck!

Forgotten History Hunts - Pick A Card - SOLVED
The treasure - valued at $185 - has been claimed! Congrats to Team tawny030591 and lovebugkz! who sent in the winning solution on 6/17. Details on how the correct card was picked is posted on the MW Forum.
Veil City Hunt - NYC - FOUND
The Veil Proxy for the New York City Veil Hunt ended on Thursday 6/19 - six days into the hunt! Congrats to PopeMothballs! The proxy with the $1070 Cash Bounty was found in Morningside Park, NYC.
To date there have been 4 Veil Hunts (2 Regular Veil Hunts and 2 City Hunts) - with almost $10,000 in cash bounties handed out.
Veil Hunt #3 - with a larger circle spreading over the Northeast is in the works! The exact date for the hunt’s launch is planned to be announced in the next few weeks! I’ll keep you posted!
