There’s a lot of different treasure hunts, with lots happening in many of them. Each Friday - THE QUEST - will do a Weekly Treasure Recap - bringing you the major highlights in this exciting treasure hunting hobby.

Beyond the Map’s Edge Launched!
Justin Posey’s treasure hunt - Beyond the Map’s Edge - officially launched- with the premier of the Netflix Documentary Gold & Greed: The Hunt for Fenn’s Treasure.
In the Netflix documentary, Justin announced there are clues within it - so to watch and listen carefully. Since he didn’t have control of what footage would be cut or kept, it would seem the background of when he talks to the viewers is a prime spot to look for them!

There’s Treasure Inside
Jon Collins-Black had sent out an email to searchers about the Netflix documentary on the Fenn Treasure.
One of his treasure boxes is called the Forrest Fenn Treasure Box and JCB purchased some of Fenn’s original treasure chest items.
These were the gold beads, a gold nugget, the Tairona necklace, and the Olive Jar - which only Jon knows the contents. It is known the Olive Jar is in the Forrest Fenn Treasure box.
Searchers continue to discuss the possible meaning of clues for each treasure box. None have been announced found yet. But searchers are out hunting! In case you missed these recent Treasure Stories - enjoy:

VEIL Hunts Launched!
Veil Hunt #1 was released on 3/27 - somewhere in the circle below is the Veil Proxy (shown above). The first to find it receives the Cash Bounty (currently $3040 but growing!)
Each day the circle shrinks - with other clues released. The hunt is of short duration - 22 days. It will be found - its treasure claimed! Join the hunts!
TREASUREFIX: Treasure or No Treasure
TreasureFix announced a new type of puzzle hunts: Elimination treasure hunts called Treasure or No Treasure.
These hunts will begin after 100 signups. (more on TreasureFix)
Currently there are 3 different TreasureFix treasure hunts in progress.
Americana - $100,000 cash bounty
We Didn’t Start the Word Search - $5,000 cash bounty
Nails in the Kitchen #1 - $2500 cash bounty.

5th Annual Masquerade Tribute 2025
Last Friday, the 5th Annual Masquerade Tribute of Hunts for Charity were released. This included the Main Hunt, and Mini Hunts 1, 2, 3, 4!
Total treasure value to claim is over $1000! Since then, Mini Hunt 1 and 2 have been solved. However, Mini Hunt #5 was unlocked and released.
Each year MW hosts these hunts for charity. The featured charity for 2025 is the National Park Foundation. Near $2000 has been donated to this great cause in this event to date. Lots of time to join the adventures! Learn more on here: MT2025
