Where are the Treasure Boxes Hidden in There's Treasure Inside?

In the There’s Treasure Inside treasure hunt, there are 5 different hidden treasure boxes - total value worth millions. Where are they thought to be? Let’s take a look!

For those working on the hunts, let’s take a look at where the boxes might be.

First, we know that Jon hid the Forrest Fenn box in the Rocky Mountains. In one of the states: Montana, Wyoming, Colorado, or New Mexico. We’ll place it on that area of map.

Jon said he hid the Appalachian Footpath box somewhere along the Appalachian Trail. However, as shown here, an exact match to the trail on the map in the book has been discovered. It is in Vermont.

Although nothing is confirmed, and the Appalachian Box might not be in Vermont, for this map - this visual theory - we’ll put it there for this example.

The Pokemon Box was inspired by a trip Jon took when he was younger. In the book it shares he traveled from North Carolina to Houston, TX and back past the Ozarks. We’ll place that box in that general area.

Searchers are looking in all the states.

The other two boxes are The Past and Future box and The Lion’s Share box.

Although some searchers have a general location for The Lion’s Share box, I don’t. So I’ll use it to ‘fill in gaps’ or ‘balance out the boxes’.

Jon mentioned he wanted searchers to feel there was a box near them - such the reason for hiding 5 different boxes scattered across the states. They are each in a different state is all we know.

But at the same time there are clues for Ohio and TN, NC and SC areas.

It can’t be in all 3 places, so some of these clues are red herrings, or their intended meanings, not yet known.

Below are maps for placing the Past and Future box in each of those 3 locations. The Lion’s Share box then could balance the box locations out.

Is the PF box in Ohio?

In Lake Tahoe?

Or near the TN and NC/SC border?

More clue digging is needed.
