Word Search Secret Message in There's Treasure Inside
Hidden layers in Word Search to find the Past and Future Treasure Box
Searchers have discovered a secret message in the word search given within the book There’s Treasure Inside by Jon Collins-Black.

Other possible clues, to find the Past and Future Box, valued comfortably in the six-digits, have been found within the 20x15 block of letters as well.
As mentioned in the last newsletter, it was revealed on the MW Discord that once certain words were circled in the word search, some of the leftover letters in the block were anagrammed to provide a hidden message.
There are options, and not all is known, so the exact message is not fully agreed upon, but something is definitely intended. Here is what was found - you can decide yourself how to take it and move on from there.
First find words as you would in an ordinary word search.
These are marked in Yellow and listed on the right side in the image below. Not all words able to be found are used, such as LESS and YEOMAN. If all possible found words were used, then the message wouldn’t work. The letters wouldn’t be available for the secret message. So it is give and take a bit.
The leftover letters, the ones which make up the secret message are in green. They need to be rearranged or anagrammed. For instance, RETEH is THERE.
The hidden message is: There are five clues in this word search. Do not tell anyone. There are no special bends or turns just remain steady to complete the mission.
There are other letters not used in words found or the secret message.
The O’s. These are interesting. There are 19 leftover O’s which since there is the word Nineteen in the Word Search, this seems like a confirmer.
Also note the light purple state abbreviations below the clump of O’s in the center. There is TN, NC, and SC. These are placed correctly - geographically speaking. With possibly MA in the top right corner.
The words, STATE and DIVIDE, are diagonal through there. Some feel this is hinting to the Smokey Mountains, Cherokee National Forest, or Nantahala National Forest as a general location for the box to be hidden.
Some searchers like to add, ‘Line Them Up’ to the secret message. As you can see below, PMUEHT, anagrams to THEM UP. But using LINE breaks the pattern being used. LINE does not need anagrammed.
If it is used in the message, it becomes:
There are five clues in this wordsearch. Do not tell anyone. Line them up. There are no special bends or turns. Just remain steady to complete the mission.
The letters not used for the secret message, or the O’s or the State abbreviations, like the first 3- QVU, and many in the bottom two roles are believed to be another cipher to crack.
BCCASLIY and SAPPHIRE can anagram to: BASIC CIPHER PLAYS
This could hint to other basic cipher plays needed. And if so, is ‘BASIC CIPHER PLAYS’ one of the 5 clues?
There are options and many questions.
For instance, SPECIAL could be PLACE IS. Special works in the message, but then maybe we use PLACE IS for another layer.
Some searchers like to add PA and OHIO to the geographical placed state abbreviations.
Some searchers are overlaying the word search with the Pac-Man paths and then trying to anagram another message. Pac-Man is mentioned in the text of the book, and seems like a hint.
Others are using the I’s and O’s to find a binary message.
As mentioned in this video - other words can be found through ‘bends and turns’ - such as LAKE TAHOE. There is other support for LAKE TAHOE too.
ELON MUSK and SATOSHI are found via bends and turns. So are other words.
Lots going on -
I think remembering Jon’s advice in the book is important. On page 63, he says, “If I were to offer any piece of advice on this topic, I’d say that instead of listening to the opinions of others, value your own. Trust in what you know. Have faith. This will make a difference.”
There are searchers saying they have all 5 clues solved - but do they? You do not know what they did or how they did it. You may not agree with their solutions.
The only thing known at this point is the Word Seach is multilayered. The Past and Future box has yet to be found.
